Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By using this website or booking a service with The Haul Team, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or our services.

2. Services Provided

The Haul Team provides junk removal, clean-outs, light demolition, and moving help in Austin and Central Texas. Exact service availability depends on location and scheduling.

3. Quotes and Estimates

Quotes are free. Phone, text, and online quotes are estimates only — non-binding until confirmed in writing or in person. Final pricing is determined after our crew assesses the job on-site, since pricing is based on volume (how much space the items take up in our truck) and any special handling required.

4. Scheduling and Cancellation

We'll confirm your appointment time before we head out. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance whenever possible — that helps us serve other customers waiting. We may need to reschedule due to weather, road conditions, or unforeseen circumstances; if that happens, we'll contact you as soon as we can.

5. Items We Take and Don't Take

We take almost everything — see our Items We Take page for the full list. We do nottake hazardous materials, chemicals, paint, oil, asbestos, biohazards, medical waste, or anything else that requires specialized disposal. If you're not sure, ask us before we arrive.

6. Customer Responsibilities

By scheduling service with us, you agree to:

  • Provide safe access to the property for our crew and truck
  • Clearly identify all items being removed before we load them
  • Confirm that the items are yours to dispose of, or that you have permission to have them removed
  • Disclose any unsafe conditions on the property (rotted floors, biohazards, unstable structures, etc.)

7. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of service. We accept cash, credit/debit card, Venmo, and Zelle. For commercial jobs, invoiced terms can be arranged in advance.

8. Liability

We carry insurance for damages caused by our crew's negligence. We are not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing damage to the property
  • Items left behind that the customer didn't identify for removal before service started
  • Damage that results from unsafe property conditions you didn't disclose
  • Loss of items mistakenly placed in the removal area

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question.

9. Damage Claims

Any damage caused by our crew must be reported within 48 hours of service so we can investigate and resolve it. Claims reported after that window may not be covered.

10. Photo Use

Our crew may take before/after photos of the job for quality control and marketing — these go on our website, Google profile, and social media. We'll never show identifying details of the customer or address. If you'd prefer we not use photos from your job, just let the crew know or email us at haulteam2022@gmail.com.

11. Disputes

If there's a problem, please reach out to us first — we'll do our best to make it right in good faith. Any disputes that can't be resolved are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, with venue in Travis County, TX.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms occasionally. The current version is always posted on this page with the "last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the site or our services after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
